V. Unbeatable has an impressive history. They rose to fame in India,finishing fourth on Dance Plus in 2018. From there, they cracked the top five inseason 14 of America’s Got Talent, again finishing fourth.

After two top-five runs in huge competitions, this figures to finally betheir time. V. Unbeatable capped a wild run by vaulting one of their artists andperfectly landing him on a bike that was held up in the air.

That may serve as an analogy for their rise and ridiculous poise underpressure. It’s also something that actually happened. But sure, either one worksfor me.

V.Unbeatable is brilliantly choreographed, this group has impeccable timing,and they’re always thinking of new ways to engage and impress. They crushed itthis season, and they’re virtual locks.

Top Challenger – Angelina Jordan

While V. Unbeatable is the clear frontrunner to win AGT, they dohave some faint competition. Two very good singers are close behind them (kindof), while a handful of other acts at least have a shot in the dark.

If they have one main challenger, though, I think it’s Angelina Jordan.

Jordan shares +1000 America’s Got Talent odds with two other acts,but she’s probably the best singer of the two remaining. She already won Norway’s Got Talent (when she was seven!), and she’s shown tremendous poiseand effortless execution along the way.

There are understandable cries for the 35-year-old Marcelito Pomoy (he trulyis amazing and offers the same +1000 odds) and 14-year old violinist TylerButler-Figueroa (+1200), but they don’t quite touch Jordan’s talent.

Jordan delivered quite the send-off by destroying Elton John’s “GoodbyeYellow Brick Road” (in a good way), but it’s arguablyher absurd take onBohemian Rhapsody that shows her overall talent and sets her apart.

It’s like Norah Jones was thrown into a blender with Christina Aguilera.Again, in a good way. A very good way.

Jordan requires zero gimmicks or extra flare. Her tone is feathery, and herpower is unmatched. I’m honestly a bit surprised her odds aren’t a bit closer toV. Unbeatable.

I’m equally shocked that she’s stuck in a three-way tie as the potentialrunner-up.

While I am all about Angelina Jordan staging the unlikely upset, we need toconsider aiming a bit higher here and giving Duo Transcend (+2200) a fair crack.

I’ll admit, I normally scoff at these random acts that rely so much onprecision or artistry. They often appear to be more about planning, focus,practice, and execution, rather than just talent.

But Duo Transcend won me over.

Maybe it was the fact that they wore blindfolds in their last performancethat pushed them over the top for me, but the amount of risk involved in theiract — not to mention the strength, the timing, and the theatrics — makes this asleeper worth rooting for.

When you look at skill level, difficulty, and betting value, Duo Transcendreally stands out. More than that, though, I rate them like this; there wasn’tanother act in this final lineup I found myself glued to the screen for more.

That alone can’t be why an act wins, but it certainly can’t hurt their case.

My Pick – Angelina Jordan

Is V. Unbeatable probably winning season two of America’s Got Talent: TheChampions? Yeah, probably.

Maybe I’m just not into dance groups, or perhaps I just wasn’t blown awaywith what they offered in particular. Whatever the case, they’re not really my winner.

But for the sake of betting on America’s Got Talent and actuallycoming away with some type of profit, they just aren’t an option for me.Seriously, you need to bet $100 just to win back $14.30.

If you want to get really crazy and bet $1,000, you bring back $143.

The reward does not match the risk one bit. You can certainly still do that,but I’d rather just get behind an act I feel good about. For me, that’s Jordan.

The 14-year-old is wise beyond her years, she’s exceptionally talented, andshe’s flat-out earned the right to pull off the upset.
